About the Role
As the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of multi-skilled engineers and ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of all M&E plant and systems across the site. You will act as the technical lead, providing hands-on support where required, and ensuring that all planned and reactive works are delivered to the highest standards, in line with health and safety and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate a team of engineers and subcontractors on-site

Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC)

Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure full compliance with statutory and client standards

Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day engineering issues and escalations

Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including hands-on fault-finding and diagnostics when required

Assist in planning and delivering minor works and project-related tasks

Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is kept up to date

Ensure a proactive and customer-focused approach at all times
About You
-
Time-served Engineer with a recognised mechanical or electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Demonstrable experience in a supervisory or senior engineering role, ideally within a critical or high-end environment

Strong understanding of M&E building services systems

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance obligations
