This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and driven individual to take charge of some of the most prestigious residential developments in the capital.
As the Large & Complex Development Manager, you will oversee the management of a high-value, multifaceted residential development, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards while delivering an exceptional level of service to residents and stakeholders. This role demands a proactive approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of large and complex residential developments, ensuring all properties are managed effectively and in line with client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of property managers, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to manage their respective developments efficiently.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships, and addressing any issues promptly.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for each development, ensuring financial targets are met and service charges are effectively managed.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all developments comply with current legislation and best practices, managing risk and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld.
- Project Management: Oversee large-scale refurbishments and other significant projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including residents, clients, contractors, and other key partners.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in property management, with a specific focus on large and complex residential developments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a track record of successfully overseeing high-value projects.
- Client Relations: Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in managing client relationships and delivering high levels of customer service.
- Financial Acumen: Excellent budgeting and financial management skills, with experience in service charge management.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant property legislation, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., IRPM, RICS) are highly desirable.
